JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Education Administration's Digitalization Unit is now seeking a business developer with a focus on information security and data protection. The unit is responsible for creating digital conditions for operations, including procurement, implementation, and management of common system support.
As a business developer focusing on information security and data protection, you will work within two areas:
- Activities related to information security and data protection work (GDPR/NIS2)
- Project management of digitalization initiatives, business development, and some system management
Main Responsibilities.
Information Security & Data Protection:
- Be the contact person for data protection issues and collaborate with the municipality's data protection officer.
- Inventory, revise, and document procedures, guidelines, and policies related to information security and data protection.
- Support and guide in information security analyses.
- Manage personal data incidents, data processing agreements, and record-keeping.
- Monitor and drive initiatives related to GDPR, NIS2, and other relevant regulations.
- Provide support and training to preschools, schools, and administrative offices.
Digitalization & Business Development:
- Capture and describe the operational needs for further development of the digital environment.
- Drive analysis work and recommend solutions in consultation with the IT department.
- Plan and implement initiatives and projects with a business perspective.
- Support system management assignments for operational systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree or other relevant academic education.
- Several years of experience in information security and very good knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and NIS2.
- Experience with contractual issues and collaboration with lawyers and other parties.
- Leading role in information security analyses.
Meritorious:
- Experience from municipal or regional operations.
- Project management according to established methodology.
Personal Qualities:
- Outgoing, communicative, and pedagogical.
- Good collaboration skills with colleagues and managers.
- Interest in business development through digitalization.
- Ability to see the big picture, document analyses, and work solution-oriented.
- Good communication skills in speech and writing, and comfortable presenting to different target groups.
