About the position

You now have the chance to step into an exciting role as a Senior Backend Developer at Fortnox in the business area Financial Services. Here we create innovative solutions that facilitate payment and financing management for Sweden's entrepreneurs. As a developer with us, you will be a key player in developing the services that position us as one of Sweden's most exciting FinTech companies!

You will be part of a team that has overall responsibility for product development, from the idea stage to final delivery. We work agilely, and you will have the opportunity to influence working methods, techniques, and tools, which gives you great opportunities to develop across the entire technology stack. 

How we work 

You will be part of an engaged and driven team with overall responsibility for product development. We work with modern technology and agile methods where we make decisions together about technical choices, working methods, and the best solutions for our users.

We work with:

• Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, React
• Backend: Go, Java, Kotlin
• Integrations & data storage: REST APIs and SQL databases

We apply the Product Operating Model, which means that we identify the customer problems that create the most value to solve through experiments and analyses. Here you get a unique opportunity to influence the direction and be part of the journey towards future FinTech solutions.

We are looking for someone who

• Wants to contribute to good and user-friendly products.
• Has several years of experience in professional software development.
• Is a full-stack developer with expertise in backend.
• Possesses good knowledge of modern programming techniques, preferably Java/Kotlin/Go.
• Has experience working in agile development teams.
• Is proficient in both Swedish and English.
