Your Responsibilities

Do you want to be a key person in an organization where your work truly makes a difference? Welcome as a coordinator at Vallastaden Care Home! We are currently looking for a new star in coordination and administration as the current coordinator will reduce their working hours with us.

As a coordinator, you are a central part of the daily work. You work closely with the existing coordinator as well as employees, licensed staff, and managers. You are expected to have good knowledge of our users, and the role also involves contact with relatives and external parties.

Your mission as a coordinator includes planning, coordinating, and following up on tasks within three areas: operations, employees, and finances, always based on a defined coordinator assignment that is temporary.

• Operations: E.g., ensuring that users receive the right services, participating in move-ins and move-outs, contacting relatives, administering tasks in Welfare, BEATA, other digital systems, and managing keys and tags. You are an active and important part of the local management team and contribute to the work of developing new directives, checklists, and working methods.
• Employees: E.g., planning and ensuring staffing both short- and long-term, following up on resource hours and the introduction of new employees.
• Finances: E.g., being responsible for and following up on orders of food, hygiene products, and other materials according to agreements.

In the role of coordinator, you need to be flexible and thrive in a changing environment. Conditions can change quickly during the day, and you are expected to prioritize and address what is needed here and now. You will be part of the local management team together with managers and licensed staff, where you work together for good accessibility, satisfied users and relatives, engaged employees, and balanced finances. You will also become part of our network of coordinators within the organization.

Your Workplace

The Health and Care Administration provides elderly care in municipal management in Linköping. Here, there are approximately 1200 permanent employees and a large number of substitutes. Linköping Municipality has a long and well-established experience in care and support for our elderly residents.

Vallastaden Care Home is located in the new district of Vallastaden on Lärdomsgatan. It is a residence for individuals with cognitive illnesses. The building has a total of 60 apartments spread over three floors. There is also a spa and a light therapy room. Our guests have access to a beautiful outdoor environment, including a greenhouse that can be used year-round. In our inner courtyard, there is a pleasant forest environment with a walking path where one can take the opportunity to balance train at the various stations around the path.

Who We Are Looking For

For the position, we are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has a good ability to handle digital tools. If you have training in logistics, administration, or other education that is deemed equivalent, we view it positively. We would like you to have previous experience in elderly care, and if you have previously worked as a coordinator or in a similar role, it is an advantage. As a coordinator, you will work daily in the systems Welfare, Unit4, Treserva, Heroma, OneMed, and BEATA, and it is advantageous if you have knowledge of these.

Work in elderly care involves daily contact with users, relatives, and employees. Therefore, we require that you can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

We are looking for a person who easily adapts to changes and sees opportunities in new working methods. You are meticulous, aware of goals and quality requirements, and work to meet them. You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively, set deadlines, and adhere to them. You have the ability to plan ahead, see the big picture, and take initiative within the framework of the assignment.

As a person, you collaborate well with others, are attentive and communicative, and have a constructive approach to problem-solving and conflict management. You are secure and stable, have good self-awareness, and can distinguish between the professional and the personal. Your approach is always professional and adapted to the situation.
