The Cardiology Clinic at Linköping University Hospital is part of the Heart Center (HC).

We provide health care in the field of heart diseases for adults of all ages and offer highly specialized care to Jönköping, Kalmar, and Östergötland, as well as having national specialty care. We have a large cardiology operation consisting of several units: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (HIA), cardiac acute care unit, pre- and post-operative unit, Selding Unit, and outpatient clinic.

Job Description

The nursing assistant tasks in the department include responsibility for basic care as well as medical technical tasks within the cardiology area. Together with others in the team, you work with a person-centered approach for the patient's best. In your role, you work independently in dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other operations. Here you will gain deeper knowledge and increased competence in cardiac care, based on your current skills, and work with an individual development plan based on that.

About You

We are looking for someone who has completed a nursing and care program or equivalent. Experience in cardiac care is an advantage.

You are secure and stable, easily adaptable to different situations, and have good collaboration skills. You possess a good empathetic ability, are meticulous, and care about working with care quality in a goal-oriented manner. You thrive in a work environment where a lot is happening, and you have the ability to adapt your working methods and prioritize based on the day's conditions. Since your work is heavily based on dialogue, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
