About the Water Subsector Wherever people live and work, whether in a large city or a rural area, there is a need for infrastructure for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater. Our consultants have comprehensive expertise ranging from overarching investigations in early stages to detailed technical solutions within pipeline and process technology. WSP's services include, for example, operations and maintenance issues, water supply economics, stormwater and flood investigations, modeling of natural watercourses, planning issues, as well as legal and water organization investigations.

With our 180 consultants in 22 offices across the country, we are a strong player and proudly refer to ourselves as specialists in water management. Our national subsector actively works with technology development, resource allocation, and knowledge transfer to ensure that both the working climate for employees and delivery to clients maintain top quality. Water issues are part of all major community projects today, and in the future, climate adaptation issues will only become more relevant. About the Position In the role of project-leading investigator, we are looking for someone who wants to lead assignments within stormwater. With us, you will have the opportunity to lead assignments of varying size and complexity. We see great potential in the role, and there are good opportunities to influence the development of the business, make strategic choices for the technology area, and collaborate closely with our clients.

You will be involved in the execution of stormwater and heavy rainfall investigations at various stages in the role of project leader and expert. Acting as a mentor and supporting junior colleagues is a significant part of your daily routine, where you are expected to be supportive and coaching for the group and have the ability to see and sell the entire WSP offering. For your own development and learning, you will also be part of a national internal network within stormwater where you will have the opportunity to be inspired and further develop your knowledge.

You will join an open and development-oriented team with a high level of competence and good camaraderie. We help each other become even more knowledgeable in our areas and provide our clients with the best technical solutions. In addition to your context with like-minded individuals within water management, you will work closely with colleagues in other technical areas in our multidisciplinary assignments. There is also the opportunity to work variably with assignments locally and nationally.

The position is based in Stockholm. 

Your Profile You have a post-secondary degree with a relevant focus, as well as several years of experience in stormwater. Either in the role of a consultant, or you have worked for a few years with stormwater issues and now want to step into a consulting role. We believe that you have experience in project management of smaller assignments, and it is advantageous to have also led larger projects. It is a plus to have worked with modeling programs, ScalgoLive, Stormtac, CAD, or GIS, as well as if you have previous experience working with sustainability issues or climate impact within water management.

It is important for us that you want to work and develop in the consulting role, and therefore we appreciate qualities such as humility and curiosity. To thrive with us, we believe that you are a social and self-driven person who appreciates a varied everyday life with networking and collaboration with many people. Since the work involves a significant amount of communication, it is also important that you can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.
