Operations Manager – Vansta Trädgård Scandinavia.

Vansta Trädgård is a leading company in Sweden specializing in building and producing exclusive glass rooms, greenhouses, and conservatories in aluminum for private customers and property companies. Our customers' expectations are high – and we like that. We are now looking for an Operations Manager who will take overall responsibility for project execution, quality, and delivery – from signed contract to final inspection.

We are looking for a confident leader who makes decisions when necessary and communicates clearly with all involved in a demanding customer environment. You set standards for quality, delivery, safety, and economy – and follow up on them with structure and consistency.

Your mission – you own the whole

As Operations Manager, you are the hub of project execution. You lead, prioritize, and make decisions. You ensure that each project meets its goals regarding design, functionality, quality, economy, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What you own (mandate & responsibility)

• Planning & time – you establish, defend, and follow up on timelines; you maintain pace and ensure delivery.
• KMA – you take overall responsibility for Quality, Environment, and Work Environment in all projects and set structures that are adhered to.
• Procurement & supplier management – you carry out certain procurement of materials and services and negotiate terms.
• Logistics & assembly – you plan material flows, freight, unloading, and lifting; you organize resources (personnel, machines, etc.) for efficient assembly.
• Documentation & systems – you establish and maintain systematic documentation throughout the project (decisions, protocols, deviations, self-checks).
• Financial management – you are responsible for ongoing cost monitoring, post-calculation, and forecasting, and you take action when deviations occur.
• Customer relations & consulting – you are the customer's operational partner; you drive direct dialogue with demanding customers.
• Closure & handover – you lead the final inspection, ensure delivery, and carry out structured handover.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in leading operational roles within construction or related industries with end-to-end responsibility for projects.
• Strong technical and/or construction knowledge; accustomed to reading drawings and working closely with construction/production.
• Documented ability to establish administrative working methods/systems and drive financial monitoring/post-calculation.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Driving license B.

Meritorious

• Experience with glass rooms, greenhouses, or conservatories.
• SketchUp and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of plant characteristics, garden design, and material selection.
