Your Responsibilities

We are now looking for an ambitious building designer in Stockholm. Our client is in an expansive phase and is looking for someone who is a trained building designer, preferably with a few years of experience in project design and wants to help move the company forward.

As a building designer, you will play a central role in the design of various construction projects. You will, among other things:

Design and produce construction documents and drawings
Participate in project and client meetings
Collaborate with colleagues, consultants, and contractors
Work closely with experienced designers and gradually grow into the role of project manager for smaller projects

Your Profile

We are looking for a driven and curious building designer who thrives in a role where technology meets creative problem-solving. You enjoy taking responsibility, being involved in the entire project chain, and growing as the company develops.

We are looking for someone who has:

Post-secondary education in construction technology/design
Experience in project design and building construction
Good knowledge of Revit
Experience with AutoCAD and Office

As a person, you are engaged, positive, and curious. You have a genuine interest in designing and constructing. You thrive in a role where you can contribute your own ideas and solutions, collaborate closely with others, and support colleagues with less experience. You have a natural desire to learn more, develop, and broaden your skills.

Furthermore, we would like you to be meticulous and analytical and have an easy time communicating and building good relationships with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders in the construction industry.

About the Client

SD Project has several younger eager consultants and a couple of genuinely knowledgeable and experienced consultants. Additionally, there are senior consultants to support when needed. For its size, the company has an impressive level of knowledge and breadth. The projects are often varied in both character and size, with many fine reference projects such as offices, hospitals, industrial premises, multi-family houses, and schools. A large part of the assignments are in existing buildings, which places high demands on creativity and significant technical ability. The company has a tradition of allowing all employees to have close client contacts and take significant personal responsibility, but with readily available support when needed.
