About Braviken Paper Mill

Braviken paper mill is one of the world's most production-efficient paper mills. With advanced technology, we refine the Swedish forest into innovative specialty papers used for magazines, books, direct mail, and packaging. We employ nearly 400 staff and annually hire about 80 summer workers, all with a strong desire to do a good job and contribute to a greener future. Here, we have close access to knowledgeable and engaged colleagues, and our workplace is characterized by both competence and community. The mill is beautifully located by the shore of Bråviken outside Norrköping.

Your Role

As a summer worker, you will have varied tasks and become part of a team with engaged colleagues. You will replace regular staff and are therefore an important part of keeping operations running safely and efficiently. Regardless of the role you work in, you contribute to ensuring our customers receive the right product at the right time, always with safety in focus.

The most common summer job with us is as a shift operator at our paper machines or in other parts of production. We also offer daytime positions in areas such as mechanical maintenance, electrical/automation, laboratory, warehouse, and production planning.

The tasks you will have depend on the area you work in. Here are some examples:

• Operator: you work closely with production and cut paper rolls according to customer orders.
• Maintenance (mechanical or electrical/automation): you help ensure our equipment functions properly by maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Laboratory Technician: you take samples and analyze them to ensure our products meet the right quality.
• Warehouse Technician: you work in our large warehouse with goods receipt, inventory work, and loading and unloading of goods.
• Facility Manager: you help create a good internal and external environment at the mill.
• Production Planner: you plan production to ensure machines run efficiently and we deliver the right products on time.

We offer both shift work and daytime positions:

• Continuous 3-shift: rolling morning, afternoon, and night shifts (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, and 22:00-06:00). Some weekend shifts may be longer.
• Daytime: usually 07:00-15:30.

In addition to these roles, we are also looking for wheel loader operators with C2 certification and forklift drivers with B1 certification. See separate ad here: (link).

Who You Are

To thrive with us, we believe you are a curious and engaged person who enjoys learning new things. You take responsibility for your tasks, work in a structured manner, and have a good safety mindset. Since we work together in teams, it is also important that you enjoy collaborating and communicating so that others understand you.

To apply, you need to have:

• Completed or ongoing high school education
• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Be at least 18 years old when the summer job starts
• B driver's license

It is advantageous if you have:

• Post-secondary education in areas such as technology, industry, process technology, systems technology, or equivalent
• For the positions of laboratory technician or production planner: ongoing or completed university education

Most summer jobs start in early June and extend to the end of August 2026. Braviken paper mill is an alcohol- and drug-free workplace, which means drug testing is conducted before employment and may occur periodically throughout the year. A summer job with us is also an excellent way to get to know Holmen from the inside. Many who start here in the summer later return for thesis work or permanent employment – for some, it is indeed the start of a longer career.
