Your Role

Do you want to work closely with advanced aviation technology and contribute to the production of Gripen? We are now looking for a meticulous and dedicated CNC operator for our pipe workshop. In this role, you will work with the processing of pipe components for aircraft using modern CNC-controlled machines, playing a crucial part in ensuring high quality, precision, and efficient production.

You will primarily work with CNC-controlled pipe laser cutting, where pipes are cut to the correct length and where cutouts and holes are made according to drawings. The role involves both machine monitoring and quality control, and you will collaborate closely with other functions within production.

Your main responsibilities:

• Processing of pipe components in CNC-controlled laser cutting machines
• Setting up pipes in fixtures and ensuring correct machine settings
• Programming and adjusting the CNC machine as needed
• Monitoring operations and ensuring that the machine runs according to plan
• Performing self-checks to ensure quality, accuracy, and traceability
• Collaborating with various support functions within production

The workplace is Tannefors Linköping and the work will be scheduled during daytime.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is engaged, proactive, and motivated to take responsibility and drive work forward. You enjoy working independently but also find it easy to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a well-functioning team in the department. To succeed in this role, you should have previous experience working with CNC-controlled machines. If you also have knowledge of CNC programming, this will be considered an advantage.

Other requirements for the position:

• Completed secondary education with passing grades
• Good computer skills
• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
