Your Role

Saab in Malmslätt has taken the next step in 2025 by opening a new, highly automated production facility. We are now looking for technically engaged operators who want to work closely with advanced machine and robotic systems in a modern industrial environment. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology, whether you have extensive experience in the industry or are at the beginning of your technical career. At Saab, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills in a work environment where you will work with advanced products and solutions that have a direct impact on the safety of people and communities worldwide.

In the role of operator, you will monitor, control, and optimize automated production flows. The work primarily takes place in industrial control systems such as Siemens, Fanuc, and ABB, where you are responsible for ensuring that production maintains the right quality, pace, and stability.

Additional tasks that may be included in the position are troubleshooting, basic maintenance of the machines, and manual operation of robotic systems as needed.

The position is located in Malmslätt and is organized in three shifts.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and a desire to develop within the industry. You are structured, responsible, and able to quickly understand technical processes.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in practical work, either from previous employment or through private/technical interest
• Experience in industrial production, automation, or technical operator work
• Good computer skills and comfortable working in control and monitoring systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

You are solution-oriented, meticulous, and used to working independently, but you also work well in teams where safety, quality, and collaboration are in focus.

Desirable for the position:

• Experience with Siemens, Fanuc, and/or ABB control systems.
• Experience with CNC work.
• Work experience or other background in mechanical work and basic machine maintenance.
• Experience working in IFS.
• Crane license.
