Your Role

As a press brake operator/sheet metal worker in our sheet metal workshop, you will be an important part of our team of about 30 employees working with sheet metal processing. In your role, you will work with a press brake machine to shape sheet metal articles for both military and civilian aircraft. The work involves processing metals such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel by bending the material over bending tools to ensure the correct shape before assembly. In addition to shaping, tasks such as deburring, drilling, and polishing are also included.

The work is mainly conducted during the day, but shifts may occur.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with previous experience working with a press brake machine and sheet metal forming. You enjoy working in a team and have a good understanding of how collaboration contributes to effective and well-functioning work. At the same time, you are self-driven, take responsibility for your tasks, and have the ability to plan and drive your work forward independently.

As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and have a strong quality mindset. In the role, you will eventually be responsible for checking and approving your own work, which requires both precision and a sense of responsibility.

Other requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
