Ivarssons in Metsjö is a prosperous, innovative, and growing company located just outside Linköping.

At Metsjö, we currently focus on 4 main products: high-tech trailers, flatbed exchangers, machine halls, and mobile storage units. All of this is made from scratch using raw steel materials. We value close collaboration with our customers, and our production facilities encompass the entire chain from steel to finished product. We currently deliver trailers all over Europe.

Metsjö is located just outside Linköping in a nature-friendly environment. It is a commuting distance to Norrköping, Åtvidaberg, and Mjölby, among others.

Today, there are about 72 employees at the company, including welders, assemblers, surface treatment specialists, and office staff. The work with us is often independent and free, which means you will take a lot of personal responsibility for your part in the manufacturing chain. You will work daily according to a schedule that you are responsible for together with your delivery manager.

We now need to strengthen our surface treatment department with a painter. The tasks primarily consist of spray painting, which will include preparatory work such as masking and manual touch-up painting, etc. Sandblasting and body filling, as well as quality control, will also occur. You will report to the delivery manager in the department who will assist you with planning the daily schedule.

Qualifications.

Trained painter, preferably with a few years of experience. We would like you to have some experience from the manufacturing industry, such as handling larger objects. Since we currently only perform manual painting, it is also a significant merit if you have that technique practiced.

You will also need some basic computer skills as the work involves reporting, etc., in our business system.

It is advantageous if you have experience with forklifts and wheel loaders, as well as being accustomed to working with overhead cranes.

Working hours/duration:

The working hours are scheduled during the day.

The position will start with a fixed-term employment of 6 months, which is intended to transition into a permanent position.

Collective agreements are, of course, in place at Metsjö.
