Kungälv Hospital is looking for nursing students who want to work as nursing assistants during the summer of 2025 at Kungälv Hospital. About the job
As a nursing assistant, you will have the opportunity to strengthen your knowledge in preparation for your future profession. You will work in direct nursing care while also practicing specific nursing tasks with the support of a colleague.

As a nursing assistant, you will meet patients with various medical needs, which means you will work closely with the patient. This requires you to have the ability to understand the situation the patients are in; you are interested in the person you meet and their needs.

Below are examples of tasks, but variation will exist based on the needs of the organization and your skills:

• Arrival conversations
• Nursing work
• Involvement in nursing planning
• Daily PVK control
• Venipuncture
• Conversations and supervision/nursing of patients
• Preparation and administration of medication under supervision

Qualifications
You are studying to become a nurse and have completed your 5th semester by June 2025 at the latest. You have at least three months of experience working as a nursing assistant/caretaker/childcare worker. Previous experience with the Melior journal system is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You need to be able to speak and write in Swedish. As a person, you are caring, responsible, and meticulous. You find it easy to be flexible and work in an environment with a lot of varying tasks at a fast pace.

Conditions
This position involves working days and evenings as well as weekends throughout the summer.
