Ready for the next step in welding? We are now looking for skilled welders for a long-term assignment in Gothenburg!

Do you have experience in welding and are ready for new challenges within a high-tech industrial company with a global reach? Then this could be the right opportunity for you! We are currently seeking driven welders for a well-established technology company focused on innovation, automation, and high-quality services.

What does the role entail?

• The content of the position varies depending on your previous experience and area of expertise. We are looking for both manual welders and those experienced in robotic welding environments.

Manual welding: You primarily work with MMA, TIG, or MIG/MAG and handle materials such as steel and special alloys. The role requires you to interpret drawings and follow work instructions with high accuracy. Quality assurance is an important part of your daily work.

Robotic welding: You manage automated welding cells, which includes programming, adjusting, and monitoring robots. Maintenance and quality control of welds are also included. You collaborate closely with the production and engineering teams and are expected to have insight into material science and how welding affects the final result.

In both roles, you need to have the right certifications, a good understanding of safety regulations, and a strong commitment to your craft. You are meticulous and motivated – and you know that it’s the details that make the difference.

Employment type: Consulting assignment via Posti with placement at the client
Scope: Full-time, shift work may occur
Location: Gothenburg
Start: As agreed, preferably as soon as possible

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has practical experience in welding with MMA, MIG/MAG, and TIG (both carbon steel and stainless steel)
• Holds welding certificates and hot work certificates
• Is comfortable reading drawings
• Is proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification
• Experience in robot programming
• Skills in quality assessment of welds
• Good knowledge of mathematics
