We consist of two orthopedic inpatient departments: department 17, which takes care of acute patients, and department 18, which cares for patients before and after planned (elective) procedures. Here, you will meet patients with fractures, osteoarthritis, or other types of diagnoses related to the musculoskeletal system. The pace can vary from day to day, making the work both varied and developing. We have nursing assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, and doctors working closely together to provide the best possible care.

The work as a nursing assistant with us involves:

• Providing person-centered care to our orthopedic patients
• Working with pre- and post-operative care.
• Performing standard nursing assistant tasks such as sampling, wound dressing, and mobilization
• Being involved in improvement and development work

The position is a part-time employment as needed.

Requirements:

• You are a trained nursing assistant who has completed the Health and Care program or the vocational package Health and Care in adult education.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Experience in orthopedics, surgery, or other inpatient care

Personal qualities:

• Ability to work in a structured and independent manner
• Good collaboration skills and a professional approach
• Interest in working in a healthcare environment characterized by development and improvement work
