About us

The psychiatric care area (VO) consists of outpatient clinics in Alingsås, Borås, Skene, an emergency department, and a neuropsychiatric clinic.

There is also a step-down unit and an acute care ward in Borås. Our working methods are based on national and regional guidelines, and we work outwardly with partners such as schools, social services, habilitation, pediatric medicine, youth clinics, and adult psychiatry.

About our job opening

Job responsibilities will include monitoring pharmacological treatment and therapeutic work with children, adolescents, and their families, with a high degree of independent planning in collaboration with other employees. Psychoeducation, either individually or in groups, is an important part of the work, as is collaboration with our surrounding resources. Working hours are scheduled during weekdays.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a Swedish nursing license and at least four months of professional experience. Experience in child and adolescent psychiatric work or other work with children and adolescents is preferred. Specialist training in psychiatry or healthcare for children and adolescents is an advantage. Personal suitability and good collaboration skills are highly valued, as well as experience in parent education and group therapy.
