Västra Storsjöbygdens parish is seeking a church caretaker, 100% for Mattmar, Hallen, and Marby, with placement in Hallen.

Job Responsibilities:

Church caretaker duties, both internal and external service. Internal service involves participating in worship services and ceremonies, as well as initiatives that concern the entire work team. External service means you will work with the maintenance of cemeteries and properties. You will work both independently and with others. Weekend work and irregular hours may occur.

In the parish, you will collaborate with 2 other caretakers, one located in Hallen and the other in Mörsil.

The work team consists of about 10 employees, and there are over 40 employees in the entire Åre pastorate.

Qualifications:

Membership in and loyalty to the Church of Sweden is a requirement. Familiarity with machinery, a valid driver's license (B), a personal vehicle, and some experience using digital communication tools such as email, Microsoft Teams, and smartphones are necessary for the position.

A BE driver's license is an asset, as well as experience in property maintenance, minor repairs, and various types of certifications (chainsaw license, hot work, etc.). You should be service-oriented as we will come into contact with many people in various situations.
