As an environmental officer with us, you will:

• Participate in the municipality's detailed planning work by reviewing and providing support on issues related to stormwater, natural values, and contaminated land.
• Evaluate and assess the environmental impacts of various projects.
• Engage in development work and monitor trends in your area of expertise.
• Collaborate with the municipality's planning officers, municipal ecologists, city gardeners, forest managers, and development engineers.
• Be responsible for the municipality's environmental monitoring and participate in the municipality's work on implementing water management.

Your background includes:

• A university degree in biology/water or equivalent.
• Experience with green issues, ecosystem services, climate adaptation, stormwater, and environmental assessments in physical planning.
• Experience with sampling and assessment of analysis results.
• Good knowledge of the Environmental Code, Planning and Building Act, and Administrative Procedure Act.
