Organizationally, you will belong to the Midwifery and Child Health Psychologists. Currently, there are fifteen psychologists working in the County Unit, of which eight work within Child and Youth Health and seven within Midwifery and Child Health.

We are now looking for someone with a psychology degree and a B driver's license. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. This is what you will work with
You will meet expectant parents, parents, and children aged 0-5 years. The focus is on preventive work and early interventions. As a PTP psychologist within the unit, you will contribute to promoting mental health and preventing ill health in collaboration with the staff at the county's health centers through consultations and direct interventions for expectant parents, parents, and children. You will also collaborate with the child's other networks and important caregivers. The work will be varied, developmental, and includes, among other things, consultation, method development, and continuing education for staff, mapping/assessment and conversation therapy, advice and support in parenting, as well as developmental assessment at the BVC level.
All health centers in Norrbotten County are our work area. Therefore, travel within the county to meet patients is part of our mission. You will receive both individual supervision and the opportunity for professional group supervision. The PTP psychologist will also participate in Region Norrbotten's PTP program.

Information about the position
The employment is a PTP placement for 1 year, full-time, daytime 08:00-17:00. Start date January 2026. Selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
