We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse who has a genuine interest in developing and learning new things. In the emergency department, we face new and varied challenges daily, which requires both commitment and flexibility. It is an advantage if you have experience working with acutely ill patients, for example from an emergency department, ward, or health center, but it is not a requirement.

We place great importance on personal qualities. To thrive in this role, you are flexible and easily adapt to changing circumstances. You have good teamwork skills and see the value in working together with others. Additionally, you have a strong desire to develop and contribute to the improvement of the organization.

What you will work with

As a nurse in the emergency department, you will be gradually introduced to the various functions within the organization. Through this, you will have the opportunity to broaden your competence and experience a great variety in your work. You will meet patients with everything from minor ailments to acute conditions – from newborns to elderly individuals. The work is done in teams with experienced and engaged colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge and experience. In the emergency department, we value ideas for improvement and actively work on development – both for the benefit of the patient and for the quality of the organization. We are proud of our workplace and strive for a positive and respectful approach, both towards patients and among employees.

This is what we offer you

- We offer you, who have further education and experience from other areas, the opportunity to maintain your competence through annually recurring placements within the operational area
- Structured onboarding for at least four weeks, depending on previous experience. During onboarding, we will follow up on how it is going and if there is a need for additional introduction time
- After onboarding, you will be offered a mentor to further secure your initial time at your new workplace
- Weekly internal training sessions, tailored to the staff's wishes and needs.
- A schedule model with reduced weekly working hours and full-time salary. The schedule is designed with a focus on recovery and provides good opportunities to combine work with leisure
- Double compensation for work during inconvenient hours – an initiative from Region Norrbotten for employees in around-the-clock operations, making us unique among Sweden's regions
- This operation is part of Region Norrbotten's extra investment in nurses
- Clinical foundation year for you as a new nurse, to make the work stimulating, developing, and secure
- Development and career opportunities where you can help create the future of health and care
- Health-promoting workplaces with access to wellness activities and wellness grants
