We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and possess good knowledge of Swedish and English. We consider it an advantage if you speak additional languages and have experience in surgical operations and outpatient work.

To thrive in this role, you need to be independent and stable and possess good collaboration skills as well as empathetic abilities.

This is what you will work with

The surgical clinic at Sunderby Hospital belongs to the division of Operative and Diagnostic and the area of General Surgery/Urology. Together with a colleague, you will be the spider in the web for stoma care in the county, located in Sunderbyn. You will work with patients pre- and post-operatively as well as in the recovery process after discharge from the hospital. With some patients, you will maintain a longer contact. Additionally, the position includes telephone advice for both patients and healthcare staff, education for patients and relatives, as well as consulting for other instances. You are responsible for prescribing medications for your patients and play a role in the development of stoma care. The job also involves close collaboration with the lower gastro team, where you have the opportunity to influence your work.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position during daytime with start date according to agreement. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
