As a nurse in prostate cancer care, you have one of the most important roles in healthcare: to be there for patients throughout their care journey. Here, you will have a job that is both meaningful and truly makes a difference. We are currently looking for a contact nurse at our Urology Clinic. Here, you will be part of a competent and close-knit team, where engagement and collaboration are at the center, and the patient is always our common focus. The Urology Clinic at Sunderby Hospital belongs to the division of Regional Healthcare 2 and the area of General Surgery/Urology. As a regional clinic, we are responsible for urological care throughout Norrbotten, with clinics at all hospitals.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with good knowledge of Swedish and English. If you have training as a contact nurse, experience from urological or oncological work, outpatient work, or additional language skills, we consider it an advantage.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities. As a person, you are self-driven, flexible as you easily adapt to changing circumstances, and calm, stable, and controlled in stressful or pressuring situations. You value and see the benefits of collaboration with others.

This is what you will work with

As a contact nurse, you have a key role in prostate cancer care. You will be a reliable contact for patients and their relatives throughout the care journey, providing support, coordinating efforts, and managing treatment follow-ups. The role includes both outpatient work and telephone advice, as well as scheduling appointments and performing prescribed treatments.

Together with a colleague, you will be responsible for patients within the diagnosis area of prostate cancer, and you will also contribute to developing and organizing the work of the contact nurse. Here, you will have a varied and meaningful assignment where your competence and commitment truly make a difference.

Information about the position

We offer you a permanent full-time position, daytime. Working hours: Monday - Friday. Start date according to agreement.
