We are looking for a PTP psychologist for the Regional Unit for Parental and Child Health. Organizationally, you will belong to the Child and Adolescent Health Services. Currently, there are fifteen psychologists working in the Regional Unit, of which eight work within Child and Adolescent Health Services and seven within Maternal and Child Health Services.

We are now looking for someone with a degree in psychology and a B driver's license. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. To thrive in this role, you should have good collaborative skills, meaning you value and see the benefits of working with others. You are attentive and can adapt to others. Furthermore, you listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively.

You will meet children and adolescents aged 6-17 years and their parents. The focus is on preventive work and early interventions before problems become too large. This may involve children and adolescents with depression, anxiety, psychosomatic issues, irritability, mood swings, mild behavioral problems, and crisis reactions. You will also collaborate with the child's/adolescent's other networks and important caregivers.

The work will be varied and developmental. In addition to clinical treatment work, you will have the opportunity to help further develop the operations continuously based on your creativity and experience together with your colleagues. Currently, there is a development project underway regarding various parental support groups in digital format.

You will receive both individual supervision and the opportunity for professional group supervision.

The PTP psychologist also participates in the Region Norrbotten's PTP program.

The position is a PTP placement for 1 year, full-time, with working hours scheduled during the day from 08:00 to 17:00. Start date is January 2026. Selection and interviews will be ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
