Our orthopedic inpatient care is divided into two departments: department 17, which receives acute orthopedic patients, and department 18, which focuses on elective orthopedics with pre- and post-operative care. You will meet patients with fractures, osteoarthritis, and other diagnoses within the musculoskeletal system. The pace varies, contributing to a dynamic and stimulating work climate. Here, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, and doctors work closely together to create safe and quality care.

Nurse (temporary position), dept 17/18, Orthopedic Clinic Falun Job Responsibilities

Your job responsibilities include:

• being responsible for and planning the care of your patients
• performing medical assessments, medication management, and monitoring of the patient's condition
• participating in pre- and post-operative care as well as pain management
• actively contributing to improvement and development work within the department

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Ability to work in a structured and independent manner
• Committed to creating good interactions with patients and colleagues
• Interest in working in an organization that is in constant development

Meritorious:

• Experience in orthopedics, surgery, or other inpatient care

This job involves direct and regular contact with children and/or adolescents.
