Your Workplace

The Central Hospital in Karlstad is a modern and complete county hospital for the entire population of Värmland. Here, you will find highly specialized care with about twenty different specialties including ophthalmology, dermatology, gynecology, nephrology, pediatrics, surgery, PCI, and oncology.

In the Karlstad area, we also have two healthcare center areas with a total of 10 healthcare centers. The healthcare center is the foundation of healthcare in Värmland and offers care at all stages of life.

Your Tasks

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work in a team and be responsible together with colleagues for the care of our patients. The work as a nursing assistant primarily involves care but also includes monitoring, sampling, and documentation. We offer you a stimulating job where your contribution is important for the team and the patient. To ensure you feel secure in your role as a summer temporary worker, you will receive an introduction on-site.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. If you have not yet received your certificate to use the job title, you will be employed as a care assistant. As a person, you are calm, stable, and adaptable to the various circumstances that often prevail in a hospital or healthcare center. Since you will be working in a team, we prefer that you have a good ability to collaborate and that you are attentive to both colleagues and patients.
