About us

Sandvik Coromant in Gimo is our largest manufacturing unit with approximately 1200 employees. This is divided into two industrial areas, where we have several production units that manufacture cemented carbide powders, cutting tools, drills, mills, turning holders, cemented carbide materials, and machine equipment. Our products are used in both larger and smaller industries such as the automotive and aerospace industries, cutting machining, and wind power.

Who are we looking for?

For us, it is important that you are a team player with a positive attitude – you do not need to know everything when you start with us, but you need to have the willingness to learn. We will help you along the way! Safety is very much present in our daily work, and you work according to the guidelines and processes associated with our operations.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, which are characterized by:

• Your strong work ethic and taking responsibility for your tasks.
• Your good ability to collaborate.
• Your sense of quality and performing your tasks carefully.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

For our positions in production, we would like you to have the following qualifications:

• Started or completed technical high school education.
• Experience from the manufacturing industry, operator work, or assembly is a merit.
• Knowledge of English is a merit.
