Technical Coordinator with the task of coordinating the work to develop Uppsala Municipality's digital presence and improve the digital interaction with the residents.

Working as a technical coordinator at Uppsala Municipality means that you have a central role in a dynamic environment with a lot of energy. We work with productions across all activities and administrations within the Uppsala municipal group. Uppsala Municipality has 19,000 employees with operations in many different areas. Productions range from cultural events to innovation days, resident dialogues, and larger internal broadcasts.

In our new studio location in the City Hall in Uppsala, there are control rooms, sound rooms, and studios where you will participate in producing various productions. Here you will have the opportunity to develop within your field together with driven and engaged colleagues. You will work in a team that is part of the communications department of the municipal executive office.

Your Assignment

As a technical coordinator, you will have varied workdays where you contribute to productions in different genres, mostly on-site in our control room in the studio, but sometimes also externally in operational premises or at other production sites. You will lead, coordinate, and plan the technical work before and during broadcasts. You will actively participate in planning, staffing, and recording projects and be involved in developing new production methods and finding creative solutions. You will also handle video post-production together with colleagues.

Our mission is to be at the forefront of new technical solutions, digitization, production methods, and flexible workflows. You are expected to help shape and work in new combination services. You may also work in various roles and functions such as post-producer, Bing, sound mixer, camera operator, broadcast producer, AV technician, and with digital meeting tools to purposefully see new future cross-border services. Experience with the Tricaster Elite 2 platform is an advantage.

As the role involves many points of contact, you need to have good collaboration skills. You have a willingness and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with experience in:

• video editing with Adobe Premiere and/or Davinci Resolve
• producing live events in Microsoft Teams and Zoom
• working with network and fiber technology
• working as a technical operation manager.

As a foundation, you have education and/or experience in TV/video/broadcast/studio production, a B driver's license, and good oral and written skills in Swedish.

If you also have any of the following, it is advantageous:

• experience as a broadcast producer/transmission technician
• experience in producing informational films and advertising productions
• experience with the Tricaster Elite 2 video platform
• good oral and written skills in English.
