Do you want to help develop our local news journalism this summer? Enköpings-Posten is looking for summer substitutes for news and sports coverage.

Enköpings-Posten has a strong digital readership development. To grow further and maintain strong news coverage during the summer period, we are looking for substitutes.

EP operates based on “local news today, for a better society tomorrow.” We do this with independent journalism that informs citizens, scrutinizes power, and provides engaged and updated readers. We aim to be the obvious first choice for the residents of Enköping.

EP's editorial team works with digital publishing. For you, it is natural to transform content into digital goals and feel stimulated to achieve and exceed them. We always work with the readers' needs at the center.

We are looking for reporters who will become part of our knowledgeable and experienced editorial team. You will have the opportunity to work in a creative environment at a newsroom that aims to be the best when it happens and also create journalism that our readers talk about with their neighbors.

We need substitutes for both news and sports coverage. If you can combine the two tasks, you are especially welcome: being able to find people behind municipal decisions and developing the future of sports journalism where equal coverage is one of our top priorities.

You will work in Enköping, one of Sweden's most expansive cities.

The positions are scheduled with morning and evening shifts. Weekend work may occur. We are looking for someone with a strong commitment and interest in local journalism. You have a journalism education or equivalent work experience and have previously worked in a news editorial. To thrive in the role, we see that you are curious and want to investigate and dig deeper. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment where unplanned tasks arise, all to capture the day's news for our readers.

You are creative and come with your own ideas, and you are a good writer. You know how to handle a camera for both still images and video. You have a good ability to build relationships and create trust with both interview subjects and our readers.

A driver's license (B) is required.
