About Kirurgslussen

Kirurgslussen is the hub where the patients of the Surgical Clinic are prepared for surgeries and radiological examinations. Here, you will work closely with several of the surgeon's six operating specialties: Endocrine, Plastic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Urology, Lower and Upper Gastro. You will become an important part of a team that together creates safe and well-prepared patients for their upcoming procedures.

The operation is located in the Dahlska building and is co-located with surgical ward 15 - an environment where collaboration and competence meet.

As a nurse in Kirurgslussen, you will prepare patients for surgeries and radiological examinations, which includes everything from taking samples, infusions, and urinary catheterizations to ensuring that patients arrive safely at the central operating room. The position also includes transporting patients both before and after surgery. The work is varied, and the days offer both pace and variation depending on the number of patients. You will work closely with several functions of the surgical clinic - operation coordinators, contact nurses, surgeons, radiology staff, and care departments. In addition to patient-facing work, booking and appointment management for radiological examinations are also included.

Working hours: Daytime, Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week.

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse

Preferred:

• Several years of experience in the profession
