ICT Educator at the Swedish Armed Forces Leadership and Pedagogy Unit

The Swedish Armed Forces Leadership and Pedagogy Unit (FM LOPE) in Halmstad is now looking for an engaged employee who is interested in working with varied tasks in a stimulating environment to develop and drive the ICT area regarding management and coordination in a growing organization.
Swedish Armed Forces Leadership and Pedagogy Unit (FM LOPE)
As an ICT educator, you belong to FM LOPE and the Department for Online Learning. FM LOPE is a unit within the Armed Forces subordinate to the Military Academy in Halmstad (MHS H), and the unit's overarching task is to lead the development of leadership (leading) and pedagogy (learning) within the entire Armed Forces. A total of 18 people act as project leaders for the unit's various development tasks.
Main Responsibilities
Fundamental to the work as an ICT educator is to independently as well as together with others identify needs in the organization, see development opportunities, initiate, organize, and drive development projects and networks aimed at improving operations and ultimately increasing combat capability.
In the role of ICT educator, you support the other ICT educators of the Armed Forces regarding the development of the Armed Forces' trainers and serve as an important instrument for lifelong learning both inside and outside the country's borders. You are a crucial part of the digital development and work with pedagogical development in collaboration with others in the department related to the subject area of the position.
Information supply is an important part, and you will work closely with the unit's information specialist whom you support to ensure that the right information resources are available and contribute to the understanding of the importance of information competence for the execution of their profession among the Armed Forces' employees. You will also be responsible for network meetings with the Armed Forces' ICT educators and participate in national and international forums related to monitoring the knowledge field, where you collaborate with other authorities and institutions.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Relevant university degree or equivalent competence in the ICT field as assessed by the employer.
- Documented experience in working with educational issues.
- Good knowledge of digital educational methods and online learning.
- Good knowledge of working with and in learning platforms at an administrative level (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, etc.).
- Good knowledge of expressing oneself in Swedish in speech and writing.
- Driving license B.

DESIRABLE
- Experience working in the Armed Forces or another authority.
- Military experience (e.g., Home Guard, Conscription, Volunteer Organization)
- Experience in project management within the field of online learning.
- Knowledge of generative AI related to education.
- Experience in both theoretical and practical development work, preferably at the management level.
- Experience in data management (analysis, storage, CMS, etc.)
- Good knowledge of expressing oneself in English in speech and writing
- Experience in conducting and leading training, seminars, and workshops.

The Military Academy in Halmstad (MHS H) trains future specialist and reserve officers for the Armed Forces' combat units. In addition, experienced specialist officers are trained for higher specialist officer positions. The Military Academy Halmstad also leads the Armed Forces' development of leadership and pedagogy and supports the Armed Forces' headquarters with program management of training and management of basic training under total defense obligation.
