As a Cyber Security Expert, you are responsible for protecting the organization’s digital assets, systems, and networks against cyber threats. You will proactively identify vulnerabilities, implement security solutions, and ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor networks and systems to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Perform risk assessments and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities.
- Manage incident response and coordinate actions during breaches or attacks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, standards, and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness training for staff.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into all technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Experience with security tools and platforms (SIEM, antivirus, EDR).
- Understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH or similar are a plus.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
