A large part of your mission will take place within the framework of Uppsala Comprehensive Cancer Centre (UCCC), where cancer care at Akademiska Sjukhuset is gathered.

The role of SVF Coordinator at Akademiska Sjukhuset involves:

  • Contributing to the development of standardized care pathways, both at Akademiska Sjukhuset and in collaboration with others within Region Uppsala. The work is done in close collaboration with employees in the operations, cancer coordinators, support functions, and other colleagues at the Unit for Care Process Support.
  • Together with clinical process leaders, contact nurses, and coordinators, creating value for the patient by ensuring that the pathways are based on best practices and that the goals for accessibility, investigation, and treatment are achieved.
  • Being responsible for the introduction, training, and network for SVF coordinators, whose task is to ensure the registration of data related to the various cancer pathways.
  • Together with clinical process leaders, contact nurses, and coordinators, analyzing SVF data and actions.
  • Preparing plans and reports for the Regional Cancer Center and coordinating projects initiated within Region Uppsala that concern standardized care pathways.
  • Being part of the operational team linked to Uppsala Cancer Care Centre (UCCC), where the team is responsible for implementing decisions aimed at developing and improving cancer care.

The content of the mission is continuously developed, providing you with good opportunities to grow in the role.

Your Qualifications

We are primarily looking for someone who is a licensed nurse. Other relevant higher education in the healthcare field may be considered depending on other qualifications.

You have good knowledge of change and improvement management as well as experience working in a process-oriented manner and driving improvement work in practice. It is advantageous if you have experience working with data analysis and experience in cancer care.

Your Competence

We place great emphasis on personal qualities where the ability to communicate well and a flexible working style are crucial for the mission. As a person, you are genuinely interested in cancer care, quality development, and improvement work, and you are stimulated by working together with others. You work methodically and have the ability to prioritize while seeing the bigger picture. You have a pedagogical approach and good collaboration skills.
