The municipal primary care in Trollhättan is a cohesive operation. Our working method is based on teamwork where we collaborate and share knowledge – together we create safe, good, and close care.

The positions mean that you will primarily be connected to one of the operational areas, SÄBO or home care. However, we actively work to help each other across boundaries – a working method that provides both variation and opportunities for development in your professional role. Even if you work towards SÄBO or home care, our operations are gathered in one place, and we are based on Lextorpsvägen.

Job Responsibilities

The role of the nurse in Trollhättan Municipality aims to plan care for our patients, and you are responsible for ensuring that the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) is followed safely in our operations. You lead the care from a person-centered perspective and are expected to educate and guide nursing staff in patient-related work. As we work in teams around the patient to ensure good and safe care from a holistic perspective, the work is done in close collaboration with other professions.

We are in an exciting time of development and transformation work to adapt to the future of care. In our development journey, you will be an important part of wanting to curiously test new methods and working methods. We also actively work on the introduction of digital working methods and welfare technology that creates security. Some examples of this are medication dispensers and online home care.

Working hours during weekdays are scheduled for daytime. You will be part of a rotating schedule where you work every fifth weekend, with both day and evening shifts. During evening and weekend work, you will serve in a patrol together with the municipality's other nurses.

Qualifications

For the position of nurse, it is required that you are:

• A licensed nurse.
• Holds a driver's license with category B.

It is an advantage if you are a trained district nurse.
