Göteborg City is seeking nurses for municipal primary care located at Förstamajgatan in Kortedala.

Responsibilities

As a nurse, you will be responsible for health and medical care work in ordinary housing or in care and nursing homes. You will make independent assessments, make medical decisions, prevent risks, and implement prescriptions. The work also involves guidance, training, and delegation to care staff.

The municipal primary care today takes care of increasingly ill patients with more complex needs, which gives you the opportunity to work with varied interventions in the home. This places high demands on your competence and makes you a central part of the care chain.

We work based on the principles of close care, where care is provided at the right level, close to the individual and in collaboration with the patient and relatives. Through a person-centered approach, we create security, participation, and a more cohesive care. Nurses, rehabilitation teams, and doctors work closely together to ensure continuity and good quality.

The position is mainly scheduled during daytime with work every fourth weekend and six evening shifts over eight weeks.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Further education in elderly care, palliative care, or as a district nurse is meritorious. A B driver's license is required for the position.

You are confident in your profession, can work independently, and take responsibility for medical decisions. At the same time, you have the ability to collaborate and contribute to the team's common mission. You focus on the patient and meet everyone with respect and consideration.
