The Fortifications Agency is looking for an operations technician/electrician with a focus on electrical maintenance and operations for Karlskrona yttre. Where will you work and what will you do?

The Fortifications Agency's mission is to own and manage properties primarily used by the Armed Forces in their operations. The Southeast Region manages properties in the counties of Blekinge, Kalmar, Kronoberg, and Jönköping, and our employees work as operations managers, property managers, management assistants, property engineers, operations technicians, and property technicians located in Eksjö, Växjö, Skillingaryd, Karlskrona, Kosta, and Ronneby.

We are now looking for an operations technician with a focus on electrical work for the Karlskrona yttre district.

What do you offer us?

We are looking for someone with experience and education as an electrician, or other relevant education that we consider to meet the requirements, and have approved high school grades. You have worked for a few years as an electrician and enjoy a varied everyday life with a lot of customer contact and personal responsibility. In addition to well-developed practical skills, you have a good understanding of electrical safety and self-monitoring programs and understand the importance of documenting your work.

You are used to taking personal responsibility and want to deliver well-executed work. Furthermore, you are a team player who finds it easy to make contact and is curious about both people and gaining new knowledge. You are expected to deliver installations and services of high quality in your work, and the role requires a flexible approach. You have the ability to see what needs to be done and prioritize accordingly. You feel confident troubleshooting electrical installations, carrying out repairs, and performing corrective maintenance. You have good administrative skills, good computer skills as a user of support systems, and good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written forms. A B driver's license is required.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge or training in cooling/heating, circulation pumps, ventilation, dehumidification units, and fire alarm systems. We also prefer that you have work experience with various control systems, service and fault reporting, troubleshooting, and have worked with preventive inspections, maintenance, and upkeep.
