Ronneby Miljö & Technology is looking for a Maintenance Technician with operational skills

For the District Heating & Cooling department, we are seeking operational staff who will be involved in ensuring the operation of our facilities and, together with the rest of the department, be responsible for the holistic functioning of the production facilities. Ronneby is in an expansive phase, and this position is an expansion to meet future needs.

About the position

As a Maintenance Technician with us, you will work with colleagues in the department on monitoring, operation/maintenance, and optimization. We also have several exciting initiatives, including small-scale cogeneration to produce renewable electricity at two production facilities.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Optimizing/efficiency of production facilities in terms of economy and environment
• Preventive and corrective maintenance work in the operations
• Actively working on continuous improvements that are documented and followed up
• Contributing to achieving the company's set goals such as quality, efficiency, delivery, and personal safety, as well as complying with laws, agreements, and applicable safety regulations
• Working according to the company's guidelines and acting in line with the goals, principles, and values of Environmental Technology, as well as standing up for and following decisions made within the company
• Independently inspecting our production facilities and operating a forklift when needed.

The role of Maintenance Technician is based at the Sörbyverket in Ronneby. The position is daytime with on-call duty.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience in the process or energy industry and a relevant technical education. You have good knowledge of how different systems affect each other, such as district heating and cooling. If you also have knowledge of automation, combustion technology, or are a certified boiler operator, we are particularly interested.

We expect you to have good language skills in Swedish and preferably also in English. A B driver's license is required.

We believe that you enjoy collaborating to solve problems, have a great interest and passion for technology, like to tinker, and are comfortable sharing your knowledge with the organization. You are also accustomed to initiating your own activities and small projects and taking responsibility for them. You are a natural relationship builder who communicates simply and clearly, creating an environment that promotes cooperation. We work on the principle of "team before self."
