Our Operations

Anesthesia, surgery, and intensive care (ANOPIVA) is a large operational area with well-functioning and highly varied activities. Here, anesthesia and surgical operations are conducted along with associated pre- and postoperative care departments, intensive care, airborne intensive care, and anesthesia and intensive care for children.

Your Mission

The position concerns the pediatric section where you will alternate between pediatric surgery and the pediatric intensive care unit (BIVA). The pediatric anesthesia and surgery department receives children and adolescents aged 0-18 years. The operations are varied, broad, and diverse. Our specialties include urology, upper gastrointestinal surgery, orthopedics, hand surgery, and neonatal surgery. We also receive children from oncology and operate in external areas.

At BIVA, we provide highly specialized intensive care and intermediate care for children in surgery, medicine, neurology, trauma, burns, and infections. The department cares for children from week 36 up to 16 years of age. We staff 6 places, of which 4 are reserved for intensive care patients and two for children in need of intermediate care.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physician with specialist competence in anesthesia and intensive care.
