We need reinforcement and are looking for a dietitian for a permanent position at Spånga Rehab.

At Spånga Rehab, in addition to dietitians, there are occupational therapists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, speech therapists, social workers, and receptionists, and we are a suitably sized group of 23 people.

Rehab Västra is an independent unit within the Stockholm County Council's healthcare area with a mission to conduct primary care rehabilitation (basic assignment) as well as an additional assignment for a neuro team in outpatient care (Spånga Rehab). Our clinics are located in Kista, Bromma, Ekerö, and Spånga, and together we are about 70 employees, of which 7 are dietitians. In the dietitian group, one of the dietitians has a coordination responsibility as a professional representative for the group. Job Responsibilities

The dietitian within Primary Care Rehabilitation meets patients of all ages, and you will work with patients who have lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, as well as gastrointestinal diseases, malnutrition, or allergies/intolerances. The work is carried out through assessment, treatment, and counseling at the clinic, during home visits, and/or via distance. You prescribe and recommend nutritional products and special dietary foods.

The work requires good collaboration skills as you will sometimes work in teams with other professional categories at the clinic and cooperate with relatives, home care, and other caregivers regarding your patients. The work also includes group treatment for different diagnosis groups and supervision of students.

Employment Form

The position is a permanent employment. The extent is full-time 100% 40 hours/week, but part-time may also be discussed. A probationary period may be applied. Start date according to agreement.

Qualifications

  • Licensed dietitian, preferably with previous experience in primary care, which is meritorious
  • Driving license B is a requirement

  • good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional license. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
