We are looking for an experienced head chef who is passionate about service, has a talent for creating a great guest experience, and it is a plus if you have previous experience as a head chef. You are creative and, of course, have a strong interest in cooking and ingredients. With us, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where your service talent can be utilized every day.

Since we do not believe that roles need to be fixed, we can occasionally offer our staff the opportunity to take an irregular career path. As a company among eight dynamic restaurants spread across Sweden, our entire operation is built for that. So once you are in, you never know what happens next.

We work with both in-house and external bookings and often assist the art hall Liljevalchs with their bookings. This can range from weddings, conferences, birthdays to corporate events. Both outdoors and indoors. On the other side of us is Blå+, the ABBA Museum with a hotel, and within a few hundred meters, you will find Gröna Lund, Skansen, and Cirkus.

The Work

You will have overall responsibility for the work in the kitchen. There, you will be part of our team of chefs who work together towards the same goal - to provide our guests with a culinary experience.

We are looking for

Blå Porten is looking for a head chef with significant drive. You have experience in the profession, are passionate about your work. You want to play an important role in taking Blå Porten to the next level, so you strive to do your best to achieve the best work results. You have a strong interest in food, and we would also like you to have an interest in wine and beverages.

You have

5+ years of proven experience as a chef in a restaurant. Preferably previous experience as a head chef. A team player who is happy to share ideas, takes constructive feedback from teammates, and goes the extra mile when needed. Remains flexible and positive if tasks or direction need to change. Ability to work quickly without compromising quality or organization. You communicate quickly and effectively. You can manage and inspire the team. Self-motivated problem solver, engaged, positive attitude, and flexible.
