Authentic Thai Chef Wanted for 2 Get Thai

2 Get Thai is a restaurant that offers unique and authentic Thai dishes that cannot be found anywhere else in Sweden. We combine traditional recipes with our own innovative flavors to provide our guests with a genuine taste experience straight from Thailand. To maintain our high quality and continue developing our concept, we are now looking for an experienced Thai chef with specialized skills in traditional Thai cooking techniques.

Job Responsibilities

-Prepare and cook traditional Thai dishes according to authentic methods and recipes.

-Create new dishes based on genuine Thai flavors and techniques.

-Work with fresh ingredients and traditional components that require deep knowledge of Thai culinary culture.

-Ensure flavor balance according to Thai cooking principles, including the precise use of spices, herbs, and fermented ingredients.

-Ensure that all dishes meet the highest quality standards and align with the restaurant's concept.

-Train kitchen staff in Thai cooking techniques and specialty dishes.

Qualifications

-At least 5 years of experience as a chef in traditional Thai cooking.

-Expertise in using specialty ingredients such as fermented fish, galangal, kaffir lime leaves, and various types of chili.

-Solid knowledge of regional Thai cuisines, including Isaan, Northern Thailand, and Central Thailand.

-Experience working with woks, steaming, and traditional grilling techniques.

-Ability to create dishes according to Thai flavor principles with a perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy.

It is an advantage if the candidate has experience from reputable restaurants in Thailand.
