ValueOne is looking for a Transport Coordinator for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Ludvika. The assignment starts in December and lasts for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

About the role
As a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, booking, and following up outgoing deliveries to customers in Sweden and internationally. You will ensure that transports are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with applicable regulations. The role involves close collaboration with customers, freight forwarders, and internal functions, as well as administration of transport and freight documentation.

Main responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate outgoing deliveries.
• Book transports and follow up on deliveries.
• Handle freight and customs documents as well as export documentation.
• Ensure that transports meet legal requirements and internal guidelines.
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, and internal departments.
• Register and follow up transports in the business system.
• Contribute to the improvement of processes within logistics and transport.

Experience and competence
To succeed in the role of Transport Coordinator, we see that you have experience in a similar role within transport administration, freight forwarding, or export flows from the manufacturing industry or international logistics. You have a good understanding of export and customs handling and are used to working in Excel, as well as being quick to learn new business systems. You are proficient in English, both spoken and written, and knowledge of Swedish is highly meritorious. It is also an advantage if you have a vocational education in freight forwarding, customs, or logistics.

As a person, you are structured and organized, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to follow processes. You have good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with people both internally and externally. We also believe that you appreciate working in an international environment where English is used daily.
