Are you a service-oriented IT technician who wants to help build IT support in a growing office? AXIS Communications is looking for someone who thrives in a global environment and enjoys solving problems.

About the role

This is a role where you will help establish local IT support on-site while becoming part of an established and well-functioning IT Helpdesk team with colleagues in Lund and Linköping. The team has a helpful and unpretentious culture, working together to deliver top-class service.

The IT Helpdesk team consists of about 40 employees divided into six functional teams: • Windows clients • Linux clients • Mac clients • Phones • Conference rooms • Internal systems and access management

Responsibilities

As an IT technician at AXIS in Stockholm, you will be the local contact person for colleagues in the office, ensuring they have functioning IT solutions in their daily work. You will provide support both on-site and remotely to users in Sweden and internationally. 

Your tasks will include:

  • Providing internal IT support to employees in Stockholm and remote support globally
  • Supporting Linux, Windows, and Mac clients
  • Maintaining and supporting conference rooms and equipment
  • Installing, configuring, and delivering computers
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software
  • Performing administrative tasks in AD/Azure/Entra/Intune
  • Working through a ticketing system, phone, remote connection, and on-site
  • Creating and maintaining documentation

We are looking for someone who
  • Has at least one year of experience in IT support 
  • Has good knowledge of either Windows, Linux, or Mac with a strong interest in learning all three
  • Has experience with conference room support
  • Has worked with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Start: Immediately or by agreement

Location: Stockholm, but the role includes travel to Linköping and Lund.

Employment type: This is a consulting assignment lasting 12 months followed by a direct employment with the client.
