We are now looking for an alcohol and drug counselor for our operations in Nyköping. An engaged and secure person who wants to contribute to sustainable change where relationships and collaboration are in focus.

As an alcohol and drug counselor with us, you will work closely with both clients and colleagues in a team characterized by trust and commitment. The work is hourly-based and includes evening and weekend shifts.

You will:

Plan, follow up, and implement interventions based on individual action plans

Collaborate with colleagues, social services, and other partners

Document and, if necessary, conduct simpler investigations

Support clients in their daily lives, focusing on motivation, structure, and relapse prevention

Work based on methods such as MI, CRA, ASI, ESL, relapse prevention, and HAP

We are looking for someone who

Has post-secondary education, e.g., treatment educator or social educator

Has experience working with substance abuse, addiction, and/or mental health issues

Is a responsive and stable person with the ability to build professional relationships

Has a valid driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you have training in MI, ASI, CRA, ESL, relapse prevention, or crime as a lifestyle.

Practical information

Location: Nyköping

Scope: Hourly employment (days, evenings, and weekends)

Start date: By agreement (as soon as possible)

For any interview, a police extract from the criminal record and suspicion register (HVB) is required, and upon employment, a police extract will be needed. Degree certificates will be requested upon employment.
