We want to grow! Gynecologist & Fertility Center/Gothenburg IVF clinic is looking for a licensed Midwife or licensed Nurse, preferably with specialist training as an operating room or anesthesia nurse with a strong interest in gynecology and reproductive medicine.
At our clinic in Gothenburg, we provide the highest quality care in gynecology and reproductive medicine. We started our operations just over 6 years ago in new premises and are continuously expanding. A year ago, we expanded with a new floor where we also have an operating department. You will be part of a team with extensive knowledge and strong commitment to the patients and the operation. Work is performed in teams, and we work with the latest technology, equipment, and knowledge. We encourage all employees to contribute ideas for the development of the business.

Job Responsibilities
As a nurse or midwife with us, you will have a varied and exciting job at the clinic with activities in gynecology, assisted reproduction, and surgery. The work includes clinic work with patient bookings, sampling, individual consultations, telephone advice, record keeping, and tasks during surgical procedures, such as egg retrieval and inseminations, monitoring in the recovery department. For those with specialist training as an operating room or anesthesia nurse, some work in the operating room will also be included.
You will work in a team with gynecologists, nursing assistants/receptionists, midwives, embryologists, psychologists, operating room nurses, and anesthesiologists. You will meet patients coming to us for fertility investigations and treatments (IVF, insemination, and donation treatments) as well as for general gynecology and benign gynecological surgery.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in development work and some research if you wish. Your workday will mainly consist of clinical tasks combined with administrative tasks, which can be expanded as your clinical development and upcoming responsibilities progress. The latter will be distributed among the clinic's staff, depending on interest, knowledge, and experience.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a licensed Midwife or licensed Nurse, preferably with specialist training as an operating room or anesthesia nurse and with a strong interest in gynecology and reproductive medicine and several years of experience. It is a great advantage if you have previous experience in gynecological care, surgical operations, and/or assisted reproduction/IVF, but it is not a requirement. Personal suitability is highly valued. You need to have excellent communication and collaboration skills and be able to express yourself well in Swedish, and preferably English, both orally and in writing. You need to be meticulous and quality-conscious, service-oriented, engaged, have good computer skills, and a good sense of humor. In your work, you strive to always achieve the best possible patient interaction, accessibility, patient safety, and care quality. Being independent in your work and confident in your role while appreciating teamwork with multiple professions is beneficial. Having drive and a desire to develop is also important, as well as taking responsibility and enjoying participating in the development of the business.
Employment Scope
Start date: Upon agreement. Duration: Permanent employment. Working hours: 75% to 100%.
Salary: Individual salary setting. Fixed monthly salary. Additional information: 6-month probationary period and thereafter the possibility of permanent employment.
