About the role

The food at preschool is important for children to have the energy to play and develop every day. But food is actually much more than that! At Pysslingen Preschools, we want to create a joyful encounter with food and ensure that every meal becomes an experience for all senses.

Examples of tasks:

• Prepare and serve lunch from catering companies and homemade snacks.
• Follow a self-control program that includes maintenance of food premises, cleaning, and dishwashing.
• Be responsible for ensuring that children with special dietary needs receive their marked food.
• Purchase food according to framework agreements.
• Be part of the educational activities by being visible in the operations and talking to the children.
• Administrative tasks, such as answering the phone and sending and reading emails.

We are looking for someone who:

• has practical experience from the restaurant world
• has knowledge of self-control
• has knowledge of handling/serving special diets
• is attentive and respectful
• can work independently and collaborate in a team, and has the ability to contribute to a functioning operation
• has a genuine interest in service and wants to offer children and adults opportunities for exciting encounters with food and new taste experiences, for example through varied snacks.
• has good knowledge of the Swedish language.
• can work with digital tools

Employment form

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probation period of 6 months. Scope 75%. Start date by agreement. The position is located in Hammarby Sjöstad.
