Scandic Wallin is located, as the name suggests, on Wallingatan, which borders between City and Vasastan in Stockholm. The location is centrally situated with everything from cultural experiences, shopping streets, and other attractions right around the corner. Inside, the decor celebrates modern art and design, with warm colors and intriguing shapes – the interior is a small homage to the building's designer, Sven “Mr Funkis” Markelius. After two years of extensive renovations, Scandic Wallin will reopen in a new outfit on March 26, 2025, and it is now time for us to seek new colleagues for this hotel opening.
We are now looking for a Shift Leader Breakfast for the Scandic Wallin hotel.

What does the role of Shift Leader Breakfast entail?
As someone working in our restaurant, you are the first person guests meet at breakfast, so it is crucial that you have a warm demeanor and pay attention to details and guests' needs. You have a passionate interest in food and service and enjoy orderliness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All to provide our guests with a fantastic meal and service experience. Your main tasks will be to ensure quality and service experience at our breakfast. You will also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.
In the role of Shift Leader, you are responsible for hospitality for the entire hotel, both towards guests and employees. In addition to being part of the operation, you have an overall view of the guest flow in the restaurant and work with the team to prioritize tasks so that operations run smoothly and guests are satisfied. You lead and delegate work and manage staffing during your shift. If needed, you will have the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel and also relieve the Breakfast Manager of certain administrative tasks.
Who are you?
To fit in this role, we believe you have at least two years of experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. You have both the ability and willingness to work with hands-on leadership. You are confident in your leadership and possess both integrity and a sales drive. Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit in the role, you need to be a good team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.
Information about the position:
The position is a permanent part-time employment, 75%. Work takes place on weekdays and weekends.
