About the role
As a project designer at Nätkraft Borås, you will work on planning and designing both new connections and reinvestments as well as reinforcements in the electricity grid. This can range from smaller residential projects to larger industrial establishments. You will play an important role in ensuring that the electricity grid in Borås is robust, future-proof, and adapted to the city’s growth.

You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate with contractors, installers, authorities, and private individuals - and be the link between technology, urban planning, and customer needs. The role requires technical competence, good communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex project environments. The role may include on-call duty as needed.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Plan, design, and calculate electricity grid projects
• Manage contracts, permits, and referrals
• Collaborate with operations, supervisors, installers, and external parties
• Contribute to the development of support systems and work routines
• Work in DP Power and other technical systems
• Participate in on-call duty or act as electrical operations manager as needed

We are looking for you
For the role of Project Designer, we are looking for someone with a technical background in electrical power and a genuine interest in community development. You are structured, solution-oriented, and have an easy time collaborating with different types of people - from authorities to contractors and colleagues in operations. As a person, you have patience, are unpretentious, and have the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Since we often build the electricity grid in stages, it is important to be able to think several steps ahead to a final solution. You enjoy juggling many tasks and working in a role where you can take responsibility and have an impact.

Requirements for the role:

• University degree in electrical power or equivalent
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• Driver's license for passenger car

Meritorious:

• Experience of similar work in the electricity grid industry
• Experience in project management
• Basic economic knowledge
• Knowledge of DP Power (GIS system) or similar tools

Relevant post-secondary education is meritorious. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
