We are looking for a Planner for our maintenance organization at Borealis in Stenungsund. You will be a key person in preparing and planning maintenance work within the mechanical area – a task that is crucial for a safe and reliable facility.
The position is varied and entails significant personal responsibility. You will work both in the field and in the office to prepare maintenance jobs and follow up to ensure that quality and scope meet the requirements. Continuous improvements are a natural part of the role. Here, we collaborate in teams and support each other towards the same goal: a safe and reliable facility.
In this role, you will among other things:
- Be responsible for planning maintenance work and ensuring that instructions and spare parts purchases comply with the applicable handbook.
- In collaboration with the Maintenance Engineer, ensure that materials are available before the work is handed over for execution in the field or workshops.
- Participate in prioritization and planning meetings and contribute with risk assessments and improvement suggestions.
- Coordinate other disciplines during the planning phase and follow up on progress during ongoing work.
- Work on optimizing preventive maintenance and contribute to cost-effectiveness, safety, and our quality requirements (HSE).
About you
We believe that you have several years of experience in relevant maintenance work and a genuine technical interest. You are accustomed to reading drawings and technical documentation and have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
You are analytical, see improvement opportunities, and enjoy driving your work forward. Experience in ATEX environments, the Machinery Directive, or maintenance systems like SAP is a plus.
