We are looking for a communicative calculation engineer for our office in Gothenburg!

Your Role

As a Calculation Engineer at Etteplan, you will belong to the Engineering Analysis business area, which is the leading provider of technical calculations in the Nordic region. Here, you will work closely with our clients and, with your expertise, be an important piece of the puzzle in their challenges. The work is mostly carried out in our large and pleasant in-house operations and sometimes at our clients' sites. We have a very broad customer base from many different industrial sectors, which allows us to offer a highly developing and stimulating work environment with varied tasks. We regularly collaborate with our colleagues in Solna and Linköping/Norrköping.

You will be part of the team along the west coast where you get the best of both worlds:

Your Profile

For you to thrive with us and for us to thrive with you, it is important that you are passionate about and want to further develop in technical calculations, are driven and curious, and that you can openly and unpretentiously share and receive knowledge. We are looking for someone who has reached a senior level in their professional role, where you can take on responsibilities as a project leader, support our junior colleagues, and have technical responsibility for projects based on your interests. Since communication with internal and external parties occurs in both Swedish and English, you need to have a very good ability to express yourself in both languages, both spoken and written.

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

• A Master's degree in (Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics), Lic or Ph.D., and an interest in product development
• 5+ years of experience in calculations/stress analysis
• Experience with CAE tools such as Ansa, Ansys, Abaqus, Hypermesh, Nastran, LS-Dyna
• Experience from the energy, defense, or automotive industry is advantageous but not required

This position may require you to undergo a security review based on current security protection regulations. For positions requiring security classification, additional requirements for Swedish citizenship apply.
