Job responsibilities

As a traveling service technician, you will perform service and installation of stationary and vehicle-mounted scales with accessories, as well as install hydraulic and load cell-based scales on larger vehicles such as wheel loaders and material handlers. The work involves measurement technology and your work is precise, where you will eventually become accredited to calibrate scales. In this role, you will belong to a team of other traveling service technicians who closely collaborate with the support department, product specialists, and the aftermarket manager.

You will primarily work in your district consisting of Västra Götaland, Jönköping, Halland, and Skåne, but travel to other areas in Sweden may occur as needed. It is estimated that there will be 140-180 overnight stays per year, and you will regularly work away for several weeks at a time (though normally not over the weekend). You will be offered a service vehicle with home garaging, allowances, travel compensation, and a flexible bank where you can choose whether you want payment or days off.

• Service and installation of stationary and vehicle-mounted scales with accessories, as well as installation of hydraulic and load cell-based scales on larger vehicles
• Precise work, eventually becoming accredited to calibrate scales
• Team with other traveling service technicians in close collaboration with the support department, product specialists, and aftermarket manager
• Work primarily occurs in a district, but work in other areas may occur as needed

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Completed secondary education in a relevant field, such as mechanics or vehicles
• Experience working in mechanics and hydraulics, including installation, service, and maintenance
• Experience working with heavy industrial scales in the field, either stationary or vehicle-mounted, is an advantage
• Driver's license B, CE driver's license is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English
